The Supply Chain Department has multiple openings for Supply Chain BI Analyst.
The position is located in Boise, ID.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Develops and implements innovative analytical methodologies and support tools
for evaluating company processes, business problems, and/or ROI of products and
services
-Prepares key performance indicator data and scorecards to support Corporate
Supply Chain top to top meetings and other strategic meetings with suppliers.
-Conduct net landed cost analysis, partnering with other Supply Chain teams, to
make distribution model recommendations.
-Ability to present complex analysis to senior management
-Design and develop analytical dashboards
-Interface with other department analysts to accomplish job functions.
-Develop and maintain effective working relationships with procurement teams,
logistic teams, store operations, distribution center and division office
personnel.
-Spearhead data sharing processes with applicable supplier partners.
-Review buying practices across buying teams and recommend bracket buying
adjustments to improve cost of goods.
-Monitors department’s results compared to projections identifying potential
issues, recommending solutions and corrective actions.
-Provide analysis, including major drivers, for Divisional gains and losses
performance.
-Data mining related to specific initiatives as requested by Corporate Supply
Chain Vice Presidents and Directors.
Qualifications:
-3 years of report writing, data mining and analysis in a Supply Chain focused
capacity.
-Experience in multiple facets of Supply Chain including Retail Operations,
Buying, Logistics and Warehousing a plus.
-2 years of experience with a major grocery retail chain or national vendors
of packaged foods preferred.
-Minimum of 2 years in a highly analytical role.
-Bachelor’s degree in related field; equivalent work experience.
-Outstanding communication and collaboration skills required.
-Strong business acumen and P&L awareness, with track record of business
partnership across an organization.
-Exceptional data mining capabilities across databases; strong SQL skills
required
-Highly motivated problem solver with high degree of initiative and sense of
urgency.
-Ability to work with very little direction and take projects to the next level
-Detail oriented while able to manage large quantities of data.
-Exceptional systems skills especially MS Office and Supply Chain systems.
-Strong detailed understanding of business operations.
-Proven ability to present complex data in simple, ready to present formats.
-Excellent presentation, communication, change management, and persuasion
skills.
-Superior problem solving, analytical skills, project management skills, and
financial skills.
