Position Title: Pharmacy Data Analyst
Functional Area: Pharmacy Department:
Position Purpose: The Pharmacy Data Analyst works under the direction of the Manager of Pharmacy Analytics, with a focus on report creation, analytics and research. This position will provide information, analysis, and recommendations for metrics and prospecting to support pharmacy operations.
Responsibilities:
· Serve as a liaison between Information Technology and Business functional groups to identify and resolve database issues
Key Accountabilities: % time
· 80% Ad Hoc Analysis, Reporting, and Project Management
o Access and query data from a variety of data sources and tools
o Accurately fulfill incoming data and analytics requests from pharmacy teams in a timely manner.
· 15% Reports
o Create detailed and illustrative reports that will require creation and formatting for multiple user groups including Senior Management, Divisions, Corporate and Retail partners
· Design, develop, and maintain Corporate and Division facing Report Cards and KPI’s
· 5% Communication
o Partner with appropriate stakeholders and user groups to gather feedback for improvement
Knowledge and Experience:
Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Health Information Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or related field
Experience Level:
· Minimum two years analytics experience required
· Intermediate level knowledge of report writing and analysis of data
· Intermediate skill level of MS Access and Excel
· Ability to understand and write basic SQL queries
· Knowledge of operations and workflow
· Pharmacy experience a plus
Skills required:
· Extensive knowledge of SQL. Ability to create on demand queries as required for regulatory compliance
Skills and Background:
· Ability to reflect on current processes and procedures to recommend and implement improvements
· Ability to work autonomously, set priorities effectively, and scope and complete projects under deadlines pressures.
· Must possess a high degree of initiative and results orientation with a proven record of on-time delivery

Travel Requirements:
Up to 10% travel mostly local and occasional visits to a division
Physical Environment:
· Local and long-distance travel to divisions of responsibility
· Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment
· Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at desk or computer terminal
· Incumbent may use calculators, keyboards, telephone and other office equipment in the course of a normal workday.
· Stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required in completion of job duties
