The Legal Department has an opening for a Legal Analyst II. This position is located in Boise, ID.
- Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Work with Corporate Compliance Manager in preparing Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Manual updates.
- Monitor and review Division SARs for accuracy
- Identify potential structuring activity across divisions following BSA guidelines
- Monitor wire transfer activity, money order sales and other MSB activity to identify suspicious activity and fulfill BSA filing requirements
- Ensure Divisions are filing CTR’s and review for accuracy
- Assist Division Customer Service personnel to insure Divisions are complying with all BSA requirements for an MSB
- Assist Compliance Manager in retrieving documents necessary for IRS audits.
- Assist Compliance Manager in preparing division personnel for internal audits.
- File SARs and CTRs as needed
- Assist Corporate Compliance Manager as needed.
- Legal research.
Qualifications:
- 2-4 year college degree or additional experience preferred.
- 2 years data analysis experience preferred.
- Ability to maintain a strict level of confidentiality during lengthy investigations.
- Fundamental understanding of BSA/AML obligations of MSB.
- Demonstrated ability to use exception monitoring software to identify potential fraud at POS.
- Proven track record as a motivated self-starter.
- Ability to multi task and manager numerous on going in depth investigations simultaneously.
- Working Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and computer forensic analysis.
