The Supply Chain Manufacturing Finance Department has an opening for a Senior Financial Analyst. This position will be located in Boise, Idaho.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Provide support to Business Unit leadership team and plants for all plant directed initiatives/studies. - Provide in-depth analysis of financial/operational performance versus plan and forecast. - Lead the development of the annual operating plan. - Identify opportunities to improve plant performance using best practice analyses. - Prepare capital and business investment analyses. - Prepare post-completion capital audits. - Develop and maintain inter-company transfer pricing. - Provide support to management for self-manufacture versus outsource analyses. - Provide analytical support to management on ad-hoc projects. - Develop and lead financial training for plants and support departments.
Qualifications: - 4-year college degree required, preferably in Finance; MBA preferred. - 3-5 years’ experience in accounting, financial planning, and budgeting in a major consumer product manufacturing company preferred. - Knowledge of manufacturing based cost accounting desirable; both theoretical and practical is a plus. - Able to handle multiple assignments and manage competing priorities with tight deadlines. - Highly motivated problem solver with high degree of initiative and sense of urgency. - Natural curiosity and desire to learn. - Strong analytical, oral/written communication and presentation skills. - Detail oriented and able to manage large quantities of data. - Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player. - Experience interacting with senior management. - Continuous process improvement mindset. - Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
